Work That Skirt

Processed with VSCOcamI’m a big skirt person. Seriously, the biggest. The amount of skirts hanging in my closet is comical, and that doesn’t include the ones stashed in my dresser drawers (there may or may not be a skirt intervention in my future).

I spotted this beauty at Anthropologie several months ago and fell in love. But, I just couldn’t bring myself to buy it. The $200 price tag was a little out of my comfort zone. Fast forward to a few weeks later, and I was promoted at work. Then this skirt went on sale. It was like a sign from the skirt gods. I was sold. And it was mine.

The skirt, with its bright flowers and poofy silhouette, definitely speaks for itself. It’s a major ham, honestly. It just loves to be the center of attention. When I saw fellow Cincy blogger Katie’s midi skirt + tied button-up combo, I realized it was just what this skirt needed.

And while this little number might steal the show on any given day, whether in the office or out and about, nothing beats the way Cincinnati glows in the early evenings. And I got to take it all in from one of the nation’s only pedestrian bridges. I’m one lucky girl.
